Our thorough inspection approach starts outside, examining the roof down to the foundation. Inside, we inspect from the bottom up, with the attic being the last area assessed. Throughout the process, clients are encouraged to ask questions - there is no such thing as a bad question and it's probably the best way to learn.  Rest assured, any concerns found will be explained with potential solutions discussed.

The inspection area I have served for the last 25 years has offered a unique variety of homes: century homes and new construction in the city, country homes and cottages and of course, with Kingston being the 'Limestone City', beautiful stone houses.  Older construction is very different from newer construction - some things were done better in the past and some things were not. Energy efficiency is something that is designed into new construction that was not a priority in the past.  This is where an infra-red scan can really help to determine heat loss and drafty areas in an older home or potential mistakes made during construction of a newer home.
